Laneways and Laneways

As I started to walk through a lane-way in Old Shanghai, I couldn’t help myself but to turn a corner and follow the path of a different one. Should I go up a staircase and find a colourful mystery awaiting me? Turn the corner and see people just living their everyday life. Watch my head as I have to duck under the very low overhanging awnings. I wonder what stories are being told here today?

These are fantastic photos, Captured life as it is. I love the look as it must be in the evening.
